Mahabharat Actor Satish Kaul AKA Indra Bankrupt; 73-Year-Old Actor Urges Industry For Financial Help For Medicines

Mahabharat has grabbed the eyeballs all over again amid lockdown. The mythological drama has witnessed a re-run, and garnered a lot of fame. With that, actors like Mukesh Khanna, Gajendra Chauhan, Nitish Bharadwaj, Roopa Ganguly amongst others are grabbing headlines too. However, Satish Kaul AKA Indra Kumar is now in the news but for an unfortunate reason.

For the unversed, the Punjabi actor has worked in as many as 300 films in his career. Apart from that, Satish Kaul has also worked in Hindi films. However, he has been struggling with finance amid lockdown. The Mahabharat actor now aged 73, is pleading for help from Industry members.

Recently, there had been rumours that the Mahabharat actor was living in an old age home. Satish Kaul in a conversation with PTI clarified, “I’m staying in a small rented place in Ludhiana. I was staying in an old age home earlier but then I’m here at this place with my good samaritan Satya Devi. My health is ok, I’m doing fine but the lockdown has made matters worse. I’m struggling for medicines, groceries and basic needs. I appeal to the industry people to help me. I got so much love as an actor, I need some attention now as a human in need,”
