Normal has a new definition in the world today with the Coronavirus pandemic, and the case is no different for the Indian television industry. While makers are struggling to shoot with a limited crew and actors are risking their safety, hosts like Bharti Singh too, are facing their own struggles.
One of the most loved comedians of the small screen, Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa have resumed shooting for India’s Best Dancer. Opening about her reservations on starting shoots and that too without an audience, Singh said that it was not as difficult and awkward as she thought it would be.
Opening up about all the safety measures that are being taken and their repercussions, Bharti Singh quipped that it took her over 10 minutes to reach the stage from her vanity. Speaking to Pinkvilla, the comedian said, “It has been very good. The first day was so good, it felt nice to be on stage after so many months. All the precautionary measures are being taken. Imagine it took me 10 minutes to move from my vanity to the stage because footprint lines were made to maintain social distancing. Temperatures and oximeters are checked. There is a tunnel made for sanitiser and we are asked to fill a form wherein there is a checklist to ascertain if we are not coming from the red zone or if we have any health issues.”
