Bigg Boss has been one of the most-watched reality shows of India. Its popularity has only increased by leaps and bounds ever since Salman Khan stepped in as the host of the show. While speculations have already begun around the contestant list of Bigg Boss 14, there is a huge catch this season.
With the COVID-19 scare not reducing anytime soon, there will be very strict policies and protocols that will be followed inside the Bigg Boss 14 house. As a result, there will be several contractual changes for the contestants as well.
Yes, you read that right! Several publications have been reporting that contestants with foreign travel history will not be allowed inside the Bigg Boss house. Furthermore, a certain source has been quoted by Pinkvilla saying, “While every year contestants get paid weekly, this season contestants will be signed on a pre-decided budget and won’t be paid weekly. Due to the financial crunch, the show will have 5 popular faces with the lesser-known ones. Given the high amount of uncertainty involved, if in any situation the reality show is stalled in between, the production won’t pay for the episodes which didn’t happen. A contestant can be eliminated basis of their hygiene, and their temperatures will be checked on a daily basis. If a contestant falls ill, he will be disqualified, but the show won’t pay them. Contestants with good immunity will only be taken.”
Well, with all these policies and regulations it won’t be wrong to say that the contestants will certainly have a tough time keeping their place in the Bigg Boss 14 house secured.
Meanwhile, it is also being reported that Salman Khan will shoot for the Bigg Boss 14 promo from his Panvel farmhouse only. It is also being speculated that the show will air from September this year. While we are super excited for one of India’s most loved reality shows to return to the small screen, there is also an equal amount of scepticism around the safety and health of the cast and crew.
