Game of Thrones writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have now jumped from period-era setting to the world of science fiction. Their show 3 Body Problem is one of the biggest releases of March 2024 on Netflix. Just like GoT, the sci-fi series is based on Liu Cixin’s novel, Three-Body Problem. The trailers and promos look exciting so far.

3 Body Problem Plot
The official synopsis reads, “Across continents and decades, five brilliant friends make earth-shattering discoveries as the laws of science unravel, and an existential threat emerges.”
As seen in the trailer, an otherwordly threat from the past has emerged and has claimed the lives of many scientists. A team of scientists will come together to discover the danger, and they’re shocked to know that it all started in 1960. A young woman made a drastic decision that has put human lives in danger today. What exactly is this threat? That’s something we will find out once the series releases.
