About Anyone But You –
The film is based on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. The storyline focused on the play’s secondary plot about Beatrice and Benedick. The official synopsis of the movie states, “Despite having an amazing first date, Bea and Ben’s initial attraction quickly turns sour. When they unexpectedly find themselves at a destination wedding in Australia, the pair pretend to be the perfect couple to keep up appearances.”
It was directed by Will Gluck, who is known for movies like Easy A starring Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Lisa Kudrow, and others. Gluck has also directed Friends with Benefits, which stars Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. He helmed the remake of Annie and was also a lyricist and composer on that project.
