Kollywood superstar Suriya is one of the finest and versatile actors the Indian film industry is blessed with. The Tamil actor is celebrating his 46th birthday today and his fans can’t keep calm. Suriya made his acting debut back in 1997 with Nerrukku Ner which also had Thalapathy Vijay in lead. In his acting career spanning over 2 decades, Suriya has so far acted in over 45 films.
Suriya has a huge fan base that is not just limited to the South, as he also shares mass followers from the rest of the country as well. All thanks to his Hindi dubbed films on Youtube and TV channels, and not to mention his intense performances, choice of a varied range of roles and versatility in acting.
Few of Suriya’s super hits were also remade in Hindi. Like Singam (2003) had its Bollywood version as Singham (2011) with Bollywood star Ajay Devgn in the titular role. Ghajini (2005), was also remade in Hindi with the same name, which had Aamir Khan in lead. Like the original, the remake which released in 2008 was a huge hit and also had set the box office on fire. Tamil hit Kaakha Kaakha (2003) too has a Hindi remake in the form of Force (2011) with John Abraham in lead.
