Captain Miller was one of 2024’s most popular South Indian movies that was released in theatres in January. The Tamil-language epic action film stars Dhanush in the leading role. The actor played the titular role and has received a lot of praise for his performance. The movie also received a positive response from the critics and audiences who saw it on the big screen in January.
Last month, the makers dropped the Tamil version of Captain Miller on a streaming platform. A lot of fans demanded a dubbed Hindi version for non-Tamil speakers. Well, the good news is that the film’s Hindi version will soon come online. Keep reading to learn more details.

The film stars Dhanush as Analeesan ‘Eesa’ or Captain Miller, Priyanka Arul Mohan as Velmathi, Shiva Rajkumar as Sengolan aka Senganna, Sundeep Kishan as Captain Rafiq, Aditi Balan as Princess Shakunthala, John Kokken as Prince Jayavardhan, Edward Sonnenblick as General Andrew Wandy, Alexx O’Nell as Riley, Elango Kumaravel as Kannaya and Nivedhithaa Sathish as Thaenpasiyaar.
Arun Matheswaran has written and directed the film. Madhan Karky co-wrote the screenplay with Arun. Siddhartha Nuni was the cinematographer, and Nagooran Ramachandran edited the film. G. V. Prakash Kumar composed the film’s music.

Captain Miller Plot
The movie is set in the pre-Independence era. Analeesan, aka Eesa, wants to join the British Indian Army to get the respect he never got in childhood due to caste issues. When he enters the army, he gets a new name – Captain Miller. However, when the British soldier assigns him the deadly task of shooting hundreds of Indians, the truth hits Eesa. He then turned against the Britishers and did everything to fight against them. It’s a twisted tale that keeps you hooked until the end, as we see Dhanush leaving us anticipating what his character wants.

The film made a worldwide collection of almost 69.8 crore. In India, the Dhanush starrer earned 46.63 crore and the Hindi theatrical version earned at least 3.09 crore.

When and Where to Watch Captain Miller in Hindi?
The Hindi version will release on Prime Video India on March 8. The streaming platform confirmed the same with an official announcement on their social media platforms. They shared a poster on Instagram and wrote, “witness the rise of this revolution, coming soon in Hindi!”
