The final 3 Body Problem trailer is now out. The Netflix series is one of the biggest releases in the first half of 2024. Based on Liu Cixin’s The Three-Body Problem novel, Game of Thrones’ David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are the creators of the sci-fi thriller series. The show stars Benedict Wong, Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, Eiza Gonzalez, Alex Sharp, Rosalind Chao, John Bradley, Jonathan Pryce, Ben Schnetzer, Liam Cunningham, Marlo Kenny, Sea Shimooka, Saameer Usmani and Eve Ridley.
The first trailer dropped in January this year, leaving viewers perplexed and excited about the show’s riveting plot. All we could understand was that today’s scientists have to deal with an unknown threat. A lot of scientists have been dropping dead altogether. But what exactly happened to them? What is causing this terror among humans, especially scientists?

Well, the new 3 Body Problem Trailer highlights that these are some otherwordly threats. It all started in 1977 when some scientists received a “wow” signal. Nothing has been the same after that. The scientists of today have no other option but to join the forces and fight the imminent dangers to humanity. After all, they also can’t afford to lose the best of their lot.
The 3 Body Problem trailer generates enough curiosity to know what these otherwordly threats are. Are they aliens? Are they some evil creatures or some nasty humans from Earth itself? The trailer gives no hint about the main danger, which works in the favour.
The official synopsis reads, “A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time to a group of brilliant scientists in the present day. As the laws of nature unravel before their eyes five former colleagues reunite to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.” The star cast looks promising, with Benedict Wong, Eiza González, and other talented actors headlining the show.

We have already seen Benedict Wong’s impeccable talent in his previous work, especially in the MCU movie Doctor Strange as Wong. From being a Sorcerer Supreme (in the sequel) to now working as a scientist, Wong is again fighting the celestial threats to humanity. The excitement is for 3 Body Problem more also because Game of Thrones’ David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are the creators of the Netflix series along with Alexander Woo.
David and DB Weiss got the medieval period drama world on point. Now, they’ve ventured into the science and fiction genre layered with mystery and thriller. We can’t wait to see if they deliver another solid series like the many seasons of GoT.
