Netflix has released the list of the Top 10 most popular TV shows (English) based on updated views as of March 3, 2024. Henry Cavill led The Witcher Season 1, Millie Bobby Brown’s Stranger Things 4, and Bridgerton, among others, have found its place. But the throne of the most-watched series is conquered by Wednesday, with some earth-shattering numbers. Scroll below for all the details!

As most know, Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega in the leading role of Wednesday Addams. The American coming-of-age supernatural comedy horror achieved overnight fame and broke the internet. In its debut week, the show left behind Stranger Things to create the record for most hours viewed in a week for an English-language Netflix series.

Netflix Top 10 Most Popular Shows Of All-Time

Wednesday Season 1 has scored a staggering 252.1 million views so far to become the most popular TV show on Netflix. Millie Bobby Brown led Stranger Things is second on the list but lags behind by a huge margin. It has scored a total of 140.7 million views so far.

This means Wednesday has scored 79% higher views than Stranger Things 4. It will take a lot of hard work for any Netflix creation to achieve this milestone in their lifetime.

On the third spot is DAHMER: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which has 115.6 million views on the streaming platform. Rege-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor led Bridgerton Season 1 is placed 4th with a total of 113.3 million views. Wednesday has scored about 122% higher views than the American historical fiction-romance series. Impressive, isn’t it?

The Queen’s Gambit: Limited Series (112.8 million), The Night Agent: Season 1 (98.2 million), Stranger Things 3 (94.8 million), Bridgerton: Season 2 (93.8 million), Fool Me Once: Limited Series (94.3 million) and The Witcher: Season 1 (83 million) are the others featured in the Netflix’s most-watched list.

Wednesday Season 2 is in the works!

As most know, Jenna Ortega worked beyond an actor in the first installment. The 21-year-old actress herself choreographed the viral dance sequence. She also gave her input in dialogues and other creative work.
