Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep’s next, which has been titled as ‘Phantom’ went on floors this morning. Phantom which is touted to be a fantasy-drama thus becomes the first film from Sandalwood to shoot during COVID-19. This morning the team started off with a muhurat pooja on the sets at Annapoorna studio in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Kiccha Sudeep who is quite active on Twitter with over a whopping 2 Million followers shared a series of pictures from the sets of Phantom. The Kannada star along with pictures stated that he is glad to see the enthusiasm and spirit of the team, and necessary precautionary measures set by the government will be strictly followed by cast and crew members.

Kiccha Sudeep’s tweet read, “#PhantomStartsRolling at hyd. Every minute precautions’ve been taken care of by the production n its nicer to see great spirits and enthusiasm on set. Each available person is taking every necessary step to remain safe. Hoping for everything to sail through smoothly. Best wshs”

The actor further added, “Also happy tat though its a minimized crowd we were allowed to have acc to the govt rules tats been laid,, Every member on set, may it be Technical,Unit,Production,Art etc are from KFI. Intention was to provide work to as many members as we could from the family of KFI.”

Phantom led by Kiccha Sudeep is being helmed by filmmaker Anup Bhandari.

Apart from Phantom, Kiccha Sudeep who was last seen in Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3 in a negative role, also has yet another big Kannada project under his belt in the form of an action thriller, Kotigobba 3.
