With this price tag, he was retained for four seasons, and the next hike came in 2018 when he got a 15 crores salary. It was growth of 20%.
From 2018 to 2021, Rohit Sharma was paid 15 crores for each season, which he rightly deserved as his leadership helped Mumbai win multiple trophies.
In 2022, Rohit again got a hike, and his salary went up to 16 crores. With the retained status, he was paid the same amount in 2023, and even for this edition, he got the same amount.
