Marvel makers pretty well know the craze around the superhero franchise in India. Last year, co-director Joe Russo had come to promote Avengers: Endgame in India, and took the crowd by storm when he praised Salman Khan’s Dabangg. But that’s not it, he mentioned taking inspiration from Rajinikanth’s Robot for the climax of one of the MCU films and below is all you need to know.

Last year, Joe Russo while promoting Avengers: Endgame during the Indian leg of their press tour revealed that it was a sequence in Rajinikanth’s Robot that inspired him for the climax of Avengers: Age Of Ultron. The film was directed by Joss Whedon.

Talking about the same, “Robot almost influenced the climactic moments in Avengers: Age of Ultron. So, you know in Robot where all the robots come together and form the snake? So, there was a moment when all the ultrons in Ultron come together to form a large ultron and the Avengers had to fight that and that was inspired directly by that sequence in Robot,” revealed Russo.

Meanwhile, Avengers: Endgame witnessed an earth-shattering response all across the world, and ended up breaking massive records in India too. The film even turned out to be the biggest Hollywood grosser of all time. Surpassing the milestone achieved by James Cameron’s Avatar, makers along with the entire ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr, Chrin Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo amongst others, had a lot to celebrate.
