Yep, the man who scaled the Burj Khalifa, Tom Cruise, didn’t know that the web had an adults-only section. Seth Rogen dropped this bombshell during Late Night with Seth Meyers, turning a casual throwback into one of the wildest Tinseltown tales.

The comedic actor recalled visiting Cruise’s house back in the Knocked Up era, only to find himself in the most awkward, and hilarious, conversation of his life.

“I think it just came up organically,” Rogen shared, laughing. “I mentioned my friends were looking at internet porn, and he was like, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa—what?’”

Apparently not. While most people would call it common knowledge, like knowing the sky is blue, Cruise seemed genuinely shocked. Meyers, ever the skeptic, wondered if the Top Gun actor was just playing along. But Rogen wasn’t convinced.

“I 100% believed he had no idea there was pornography on the World Wide Web,” Rogen said, fully committed to the story. “The first thing I knew about the internet was that it had porn on it. That’s the only reason I knew it existed!”

Cue the collective gasp from anyone with a working modem in the 2000s.

But wait, this story’s got layers. Before even stepping into Cruise’s house, Rogen faced a crisis of his own. As his car crawled up the driveway of one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, the comedian realized he was in trouble, he really had to pee.

“I didn’t want the first thing I said to be, ‘Hi, I’m Seth Rogen. Can I pee in your house?’” Rogen explained. So, like any resourceful guest-to-be, he improvised.

“Halfway up the driveway, I grabbed a Snapple bottle and peed in the bottle,” he admitted, chuckling at the memory.

But here’s the kicker: Cruise’s fortress-like home was likely decked out with security cameras. “Looking back, there’s no way he doesn’t have footage of me peeing in a bottle,” Rogen added.

Imagine Cruise reviewing his CCTV tapes: one minute, he’s learning about internet porn; the next, he’s catching Rogen mid-bottle mission.

Between Cruise’s apparent cluelessness and Rogen’s Snapple saga, this tale feels like it belongs in a buddy comedy. The idea of one of Hollywood’s most intense actors reacting like a wide-eyed newbie to something so, well, basic is pure gold.

While the world may never know what Cruise Googled after that fateful chat, one thing’s certain: only in Hollywood could a story like this exist. Internet porn? Snapple bottles? Tom Cruise? Seth Rogen? Somebody call a screenwriter.
