Johnny Depp is currently fighting a legal battle against British tabloid, The Sun. It all happened after they termed the actor a ‘wife-beater’ in one of their articles. It happened soon after Amber Heard accused him of physical assault in their marriage.
Owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the libel suit had been pushed. Finally, the first trial took place earlier this week. Johnny provided his evidences. He even denied all of Amber’s claims calling them ‘sick.’ But what grabbed our eyeballs is the fight that took place between the Fantastic Beasts actor and Heard. The actress’ sister, Whitney, was dragged into it too.
This incident took place during March, 2015. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard got into a quarrel at the actor’s LA penthouse. The Aquaman actress reportedly learned about her husband having an extra marital affair.
This left Johnny Depp furious. He screamed “you b*tches” and “you c*unts,” if a report by The Sun is to be believed. That’s not it, he allegedly even ran towards Amber Heard in anger to hit her. When her sister Whitney came in the way, he shoved her.
At the last trial, Sasha Wass QC, The Sun’s representatives asked Depp, “You pushed Whitney out of the way in order to hit Ms Heard and you struck Whitney in the arm. Ms Heard shouted don’t hit my sister and Ms Heard then hit you.”
Johnny denied the claims and said he was “nothing violent” but he “possibly tried to protect myself if that’s considered violent.”
Heard in retaliation said, “f**k you.” Johnny Depp then allegedly “grabbed Amber Heard by the hair and then you hit her in the head”.
Post this, the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor started smashing his penthouse in anger. Whitney took her sister away from the house in fear.
