A few days ago, Anthony Mackie slammed Marvel for lack of diversity in their films. Now, Thor: Love and Thunder actress Tessa Thompson revealed that upcoming MCU films will have more diversity. The actress has appeared in 2 MCU films so far, Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Tessa Thompson plays the role of Valkyrie in the Marvel films. The actress said that in the upcoming film, her character will be on the hunt for her queen. When Thor: Ragnarok was out, fans shared about Valkyrie being first LGBTQ superhero in Marvel. Looks like that’s going to happen soon. The actress has shared more about MCU and her upcoming film with Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman.

In an interaction with Ramy Youssef on Variety’s Actors on Actors series, Tessa talked about Queer superheroes too. The Thor: Love and Thunder actress said, “The truth is these movies travel globally in such huge ways, and if you can represent people that are of colour, if you can represent people with disabilities, if you can represent the LGBTQIA community inside of these films, it’s a pretty big deal.”
