The Batman Teaser: Robert Pattinson Is The Dark Knight We Deserve When He Says ‘I’m Vengeance’

The DC FanDome event was exactly how the fans had expected – grand and full of surprises. Matt Reeves dropped the first teaser of The Batman starring Robert Pattinson. This superhero saga is one of the much-anticipated films. Initially, fans were not sure of the Twilight actor donning the superhero cape. However, every time Reeves would drop a still/poster, people appreciated them and their excitement and expectations grew.
Today, Warner Bros pictures first shared a few stills from The Batman. Robert Pattinson looks wrecked and in a mood for retribution in it. People on the internet went gaga over these stills. Even Matt was overwhelmed with all the love and appreciation. He had tweeted, “Wow, means SO much to me that you guys are so excited about #TheBatman! Thank you for your “early” reactions — we are so close, please just wait for the panel… 5:30PM PT #DCFanDome.”
When Matt Reeves’ DC FanDome panel was done, he took to his Twitter page to share the first teaser of The Batman. As he promised, it’s dark, it’s gratifying and terrific. Whoever doubted Robert Pattinson’s ability to play the caped crusader will take back their words for sure.
The Batman teaser has a dark and grim tone. It plays the song ‘Something in the Way’ by Nirvana which is apt to make the mood melancholic. The teaser starts with The Riddler (Paul Dano) setting his first riddle for Robert Pattinson. There’s high-octane action, the right feel of Gotham city that’s full of crime and bad boys, fights, car chasing scenes and gun firing shots. After all, challenges for our superhero were never easy! When the actor says ‘I’m Vengeance’ we know that he’s the Dark Knight we deserve!
The Life actor looks powerful in the cape as if it was waiting for him to wear it someday. There’s craze, anger, fear and vengeance in his eyes. The teaser also gives us the shots of Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz), and Penguin (Colin Farrel).

The teaser of The Batman ends with ‘still in production’. Due to the pandemic and lockdown, the shooting had stopped midway in March. Robert Pattinson and other star cast are expected to resume the shoot at WB studios in September in the UK.
