The coronavirus pandemic led to the shutting down of the entertainment industry worldwide. Robert Pattinson’s The Batman’s shoot along with many others is halted until the situation gets normal. Due to the shooting of TV shows and films being called off, the Hollywood industry is facing a loss of $20 billion in revenue this year.
This Pattinson starrer was supposed to hit the screens in June 2021. However, latest reports suggest that this might not happen anymore as the release date can get pushed ahead. As reported by We Got This Covered, a source informed that the production team has no idea when they will be able to resume the shoot of The Batman. Hence, the studios are already making up their minds to delay the release of this film.
The Batman is a film which requires a lot of attention to minute details. The post-production work takes even more time to finish as they have to look into the visual effects and editing. It all depends on Matt Reeves now whether he plans to push the release date ahead of Robert Pattinson’s film.
