Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi gave comic book fans the Spider-Man trilogy even before the Marvel Cinematic Universe existed. Fans have demanded the Spider-Man 4 after seeing Tobey in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. There had been no news until recently, when actor Thomas Haden Church, known for playing Sandman in the Tobey-led threequel, gave a positive update about a possible fourth film in that franchise.

The first film by Sam Raimi was released in 2002, and it gave the fans one of the best villains, Norman Osborn, played by Willen Dafoe. Last year in December, according to a survey based on Netflix subscribers’ viewership data, Tobey’s Peter Parker was the most popular among the fans. His films were watched for 59.5 million hours, followed by Tom Holland’s 48.9 million hours, and then Andrew Garfield’s films were watched for 36.2 million hours.
