As the coronavirus ripples through every sector of public life, world leaders must determine in real-time how to deal with a crisis that seems to worsen by the hour. Now Queen Elizabeth II, The Queen of the United Kingdom, reportedly moved out of the Buckingham Palace last Thursday to stay in her London residence in Windsor Castle.
According to a report in Filmfare, it further suggests that this step was taken by the Queen post a royal aide was tested positive of coronavirus. All her engagements were cancelled and as a precautionary measure, she moved out of the palace for a few days till the virus’ spread subsides.
A source close to the royal family informed a daily, “The worker tested positive before the Queen left for Windsor. But the Palace has 500 members of staff so, like any workplace, it’s not inconceivable it would be affected in some stage.” The news also said that the Queen is fit and fine and is taking the necessary measure to stay protected during such a grave time.
