Rumours suggest that she is uncomfortable with the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor’s closeness to Jennifer Aniston and has threatened him against the same. But did you know there was a time when Jolie publicly kissed her brother?
Yes, you heard that right! It all happened during Oscars 2000, and led to a lot of incest rumours surrounding the actress. Actually, Angelina Jolie won the award for the best-supporting actress for her portrayal in Girl, Interrupted and the exciting part was that it was her first-ever Academy Award nomination. Overwhelmed with the response, the actress even ended up in tears.
Unfortunately, what instead grabbed the headlines and took the news world by storm was her lip-kissing brother James Haven. According to some reports, the act left the people in the surrounding uneasy and several even pointed fingers at their relation.
However, close friend Cis Rundle in an interview revealed rather shocking details when she informed that the brother-sister duo had come straight from the hospital after their mother Marcheline was diagnosed with cancer. The moment was rather emotional and heart-wrenching for the duo.
“Nobody in the world knew that they spent the day in the hospital. It was like, ‘Look where we’re at now.’ But the world saw something incestual. It was meant to be ‘Here we are.’ They only ever had each other. They had a very tight relationship with each other and their mother,” Cis had said.
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie’s award-winning speech defined her relationship with brother James Haven when she said, “I’m in shock, and I’m so in love with my brother right now. He just held me and said he loved me, I know he’s so happy for me. Jamie, I’m nothing without you… you’re the strongest person and the most amazing man I’ve known. I love you”
