Naya Rivera, the Glee actress who has been missing ever since she went to Lake Piru with her 4 years old kid Josey on 8th July was presumed dead the very next day of her disappearance. As Koimoi informed you yesterday that the police have ruled out the possibility of suicide after interviewing her son.
The police authorities have widened their scope of the search for Naya Rivera’s body. But nothing has transpired till now even after using sonar equipment and advanced robot cameras as the visibility of the Lake Piru is said to be very less.

In a recent development of Naya Rivera search, Sgt. Shannon King spoke to People. On Sunday, the investigators have completed the cabins near the Lake to assure that nothing has changed.

About Naya Rivera search operation, King shared, “They’re not occupied. Nothing came of it.” He added, “They were just doing the shoreline to make sure nothing has changed. There were a lot of folks that were talking on social media about, ‘Oh, check the cabins. Maybe she is there, maybe she’s hanging out.”
Sgt. Shannon King said while explaining why it is getting difficult to locate Naya Rivera’s body, “It’s not like typical waters, which are crystal clear, this is murky, cold lake water”. He further added that the ground of the Lake is covered in trees and shrubs which is certainly hampering their efforts. This is the reason that they must go very slowly. Because the sonar vision coming back on the screen appears clear only when they go slow. On the other hand, if they decide to go fast, it becomes more entangled and harder to tell.

King concluded that there was absolutely no evidence of Naya Rivera leaving the water. This makes it look like a tragic drowning.
