Megyn Kelly took center stage and aimed her sharp criticism squarely at Jennifer Lopez, blending political jabs with personal digs at Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again Victory Rally in Washington, DC.
The rally, held just a day before Trump’s inauguration, drew thousands to the Capitol One Arena. Kelly used her platform to mock the Let’s Get Loud singer for her outspoken support of Kamala Harris during the 2024 election.

Megyn Kelly Puts Jennifer Lopez’s Political Involvement Under Fire
Kelly ridiculed Lopez for her attempt to influence voters, calling out Hollywood celebrities for their perceived detachment from the realities of everyday Americans. “Speaking of J.Lo, how happy are you [that] her candidate lost? It’s so delightful,” Kelly said, throwing her first shade at Lopez. “These Hollywood celebrities who get up there and try to tell us how to vote…really? I mean like those celebrities who know nothing about anything.”

The pop star addressed a Harris campaign rally and endorsed the former US VP just before the November 2024 elections. She also defended her fellow Puerto Ricans from the scathing remarks spat out by Donald Trump during his campaign rally in Madison Square Garden, New York, in late October.
Megyn Kelly’s Personal Shot Towards Jennifer Lopez
The controversial political podcaster’s criticism wasn’t limited to Lopez’s political involvement; she delved into the singer’s personal life, taking shots at her history of marriages and divorces, including her high-profile split from Ben Affleck just months earlier.
“All J.Lo knows how to do is ruin marriages,” Megyn echoed. She then doubled down on the assertion, adding that Jennifer was “an expert at that,” and then asked, “Why does she have to try and ruin the country too?”
Megyn concluded, “So goodbye J.Lo. It didn’t work out for you.” The rally wasn’t just a stage for speeches but a full-scale celebration of Trump’s political resurgence, featuring performances by Billy Ray Cyrus, Kid Rock, and the Village People.
Trump himself planned to make an appearance at the Capitol One Arena after being sworn in, offering a live viewing of his inauguration for supporters unable to attend the smaller, weather-adjusted ceremony at the US Capitol Rotunda.
