Australian pop star Kylie Minogue, who is known for her singles like ‘I Should Be So Lucky’, ‘The Loco-Motion’, and ‘Step Back in Time’, has released her latest single. Titled ‘Say Something’, the song is taken from her upcoming album Disco.
Kylie Minogue premiered the ‘galactic disco’ floor filler on BBC Radio 2. Earlier this week she even teased her fans by tweeting a small promo.

Following 2018’s Golden, which earned the singer her sixth chart-topper in the UK, Disco’s lead single marks Kylie’s return to her dance floor glory days. Kylie Minogue told GQ Magazine in an interview earlier this year, “I loved disco as an eight-year-old. It’s been a long love affair.”

Continuing further, Kylie Minogue said, “I’m loving the modern interpretations of the genre now.” She added, “The songs that are pure escapism have even stronger purpose.”
During an interaction with The Independent in May, Kylie Minogue told the publication that the ‘grown-up disco’ album was made during her quarantine recording sessions at her London home earlier this year. She said, “It’s been a steep learning curve for all the team as there are technical obstacles to navigate, but I’m so thankful to be able to continue work on my album in this way.”
Minogue’s record label BMG revealed that the Spinning Around singer was taking more creative control of her work during isolation, teaching herself to use engineering tools to produce her vocals.
‘Say Something’ is available now on all streaming platforms. Disco is set for release Friday, November 6.
