Soon after confirming their split, the FRIENDS actress and Brad Pitt even went out for a dinner date and could barely keep their hands off each other. While the world hoped for a reconciliation, it was the ‘vacation’ that changed the entire equation.
The reality came out only when she witnessed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s leaked picture from their Kenya getaway and all of it was happening behind her back. The actress even reacted to the same in a conversation with Vanity Fair revealing that she was angry, yet embarrassed.
The actress said, “The world was shocked, and I was shocked. I can’t say it was one of the highlights of my year. Who would deal with that and say, ‘Isn’t that sweet! That looks like fun!’? But sh*t happens. You joke and say, ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’”
That’s not it, it clearly affected Jennifer Aniston as she continued, “I have to think there’s some reason I have called this into my life. I have to believe that—otherwise it’s just cruel. Am I lonely? Yes. Am I upset? Yes. Am I confused? Yes. Do I have my days when I’ve thrown a little pity party for myself? Absolutely”
