Avengers: Endgame completes a year of its release today. It was the last time when actors Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner worked together. It all started in 2012 with The Avengers when their characters Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Thor, Hulk and Hawkeye came together on screen. With Iron Man and Black Widow’s deaths and Cap giving up on his superpowers, we will never get to see the OG 6 Avengers together again.
When the film released, their fans were heartbroken. The audience took a lot of time to come to terms with what happened in this 2019 blockbuster. However, many fans are still in denial that their favourite superheroes are dead and the future of MCU films will be entirely different. Just like fans, it wasn’t easy for these actors also to witness the end of Phase 3 and the journey of several characters. Even they got emotional and some cried after watching the film, reported Variety. It’s natural as, after 21 films, anyone would get attached to the franchise.
Mark Ruffalo aka Hulk had said, “It’s been an amazing ride and so moving, I love all of you guys so much. It’s been the trip of a lifetime, and what you did up there tonight was so beautiful. My brother and sister Avengers, I love you so much.”
Chris Evans aka Captain America revealed he tired 6 times. The actor shared, “I have a lot of my friends and family here tonight, and a lot of them are right up here. We have this bond that transcends what we do for a living … I cried like six times.” Scarlett Johansson, while talking about finishing the shoot of Black Widow had said, “Honestly, it brought a closure to me that I needed, ’cause I was kind of wiped out after that last one (Avengers: Endgame) emotionally and literally… There are very few certain things but definitely, death is pretty certain.”

Jeremey Renner aka Hawkeye expressed his love to the people who have loved their films over the years. He also thanked Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Avengers: Endgame directors, Joe and Anthony Russo. After the premiere of the film, Chris Hemsworth aka Thor wasn’t willing to speak about the film. However, the actor, who seemed emotional at that time shared his affected towards the film, fans, co-stars and his family. But when Endgame went on to become a big success, the actor had taken to his social media page to thank his fan via a video. He wrote, “Smashing the box office across the globe, biggest opening of all time. All I can say is thank you to all the fans. None of this is possible without you guys.”
Everyone’s favourite Robert Downey Jr aka Iron Man who died in Avengers: Endgame shared his views in Tony Stark style. The actor clutched a child actor from Endgame and looked at the crowd and said, “We’ve got a lot of parties and after-parties to get to, so we’re just going to say we love you.”
