Adele has inspired millions of fans with her dramatic weight loss journey over the year. The journey has supposedly stemmed after her divorce with her husband Simon Konecki. But it is one of her imposters, Maria Herriott who has made headlines today.
While most people are in love with Adele’s new look, it has posed as a mighty problem for Maria. She is now struggling to look like the transformed Adele and it is not coming easily to her. It is being reported that Maria has spent a handsome £11,000 on a stomach surgery to match Adele’s new look.
Maria Herriot, who is 20 stones in weight has been asked to shed some weight in order to resemble more to the slimmer version of Adele. Speaking to the Sun, Maria revealed that she will be undergoing a Gastric Bypass to shed some extra kilos.

The Adele imposter was quoted saying, “Surgery isn’t an easy option but I hope it’ll be the solution. I’ve taken out a big loan to cover the cost but I hope the gigs I get off the back of it will cover that twice over. The surgeons say I can get to 11st – but I’ll be happy with 12st.”
Meanwhile, where Adele’s weight loss journey was happening right in front of the eyes of her fans, it was in May that she took social media by storm. The singer shared a picture of herself on her birthday and then was when fans saw a suddenly exceptionally thin Adele and they were just in love with it.
Sharing a picture of herself in a little black dress, Adele captioned the image on Instagram as, “Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time.
I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels ♥️ 2020 okay bye thanks x.”
