The final season of Karan Johar’s legendary talk show, Koffee With Karan Season 9, has officially etched its name into OTT history! According to the latest viewership data released by Ormax Media via its Ormax StreamView tracking report, the talk show has achieved a rare, historic feat on Indian streaming charts, becoming the first Indian English-language title to feature in Ormax StreamView’s weekly Top 10 most-watched streaming content in India for 2026.
Standing alongside big franchises, Karan Johar’s signature celebrity chat show has proven that an English show from India can command top-tier streaming dominance. As per this report, in 2026, only six English-language titles have managed to secure a spot in the nationwide weekly Top 10 list for at least one week.
Koffee With Karan Season 9 is the latest title to join this highly exclusive group, and uniquely stands as the only Indian-produced English-language title to achieve this distinction. In an OTT market traditionally dominated by Hindi crime thrillers, high-stakes action drama series, and pan-Indian direct-to-digital films, English-language content, especially unscripted talk shows, faces a battle for reach and viewership!
