Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani Doubles Its ROI At The Domestic Box Office

Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has entered the Rs 100 crore club in 7 days. The movie, which did a stupendous opening day and opening weekend business, emerged as the 3rd fastest Rs 100 crore club entrant making it a profitable venture.

Made on a decent cost of Rs 45 crores, the movie is a Superhit already. The second weekend also looks pretty good for movie since this week’s new release Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 doesn’t seem to be a big threat to YJHD.

Raking up Rs 108 crores approx on its 7th day, YJHD has already earned 2.40 multiples on the approximate Investment of Rs 45 crores (production+marketing). We expect the movie to make a lifetime business of about 140-150 crores at the Domestic Box Office.
