This week’s big release is Housefull 3 starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon. The comedy drama is a franchise film and after the success of the first two installments, this film too, is expected to taste the success.
The film has already met with a good occupancy on its first day. So far, 2016’s highest opener remains Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan, which fetched a collection of 19.20 crores.
Looking at the responses Housefull 3 has got for the morning shows, it looks like the film may score in the same range as Fan. If the film surpasses the collections of Fan, it may break a few records that the film has set.
