As expected, Akshay Kumar broke his own record with Singh Is Bliing. The film started off brilliantly and with an extended weekend, it surpassed the 50 crore mark in just the three days. The film collected 54.44 crores over its opening weekend.
With this collection, Akshay has beaten his own record of Brothers and Gabbar Is Back. Also, the comedy drama has put behind the collections of this year’s other successful films like, Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Singh Is Bliing has now become the second highest opening grosser of the year. The film is already Akshay Kumar’s biggest opener ever.
