Shuddh Desi Romance is one of the rare romantic comedies which won’t stale out. The film showed an inspired growth in its opening week and sustained well on its 2nd weekend too. However, the film’s box office collections saw a drop on its 2nd Monday.
The film managed to collect around 80 lacs yesterday, taking its domestic total to 42.90 cores at the Box office.
Starring Parineeti Chopra, Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Vaani Kapoor, the younger brand of performances have delivered a crackling feat. However, the deterring in the growth of its collections can be attributed to Grand Masti which has been performing phenomenally well at the box office giving tough competition to all the other releases.
