One only wonders if remakes are the go-to route for Ajay Devgn, who previously delivered success with Drishyam 2, a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name.
Shaitaan Box Office Collection
There is no prominent competition at the ticket windows currently. And that could be one key reason why a genre like supernatural horror thriller could flourish on the opening day. Shaitaan brought in collections of 15.21 crores on day 1. The film also benefitted from the partial Mahashivratri holiday, which led to a major boost in spot bookings throughout the day.
On the second day, Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan‘s film added another 18.25 crores* to the kitty. The overall collections now stand somewhere around 33.46 crores*.
Shaitaan Advance Booking Collection Day 3
As per the latest box office updates flowing in, Shaitaan has added 5.70 crores to its box office collection via advance booking on day 3. This is a growth of about 14% compared to pre-booking sales of 5 crores on Saturday.
Around 2.29 lakh+ tickets have been sold so far. The numbers will get better during the evening and night shows. With the current trend, it looks highly possible that the horror flick may surpass the whopping earnings made on Saturday as well.
And with that, Shaitaan will make a smooth entry into the 50 crore club. This is indeed a dreamy run for any movie, and Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan have achieved that!
