Shaitaan Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking (2 Days To Go): Comes Closer To The Milestone Of 50,000 Tickets With 81% Jump From Yesterday!

Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s Shaitaan is scheduled to release in theatres this Friday. After Article 370, this is the next noteworthy release from Bollywood, and going by the trailer, it carries the potential of turning out to be a surprise hit at the Indian box office. Speaking about the advance booking report, the film has now picked up the pace for day 1. Keep reading to know more!

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is an official Hindi remake of 2023’s Gujarati horror film, Vash. Interestingly, actress Janki Bodiwala, who was an important part of Vash, will be reprising the same character in the Hindi remake. While it’s a remake, a major section of the audience in the Hindi belt isn’t aware of the original film, and that might help this Ajay Devgn-led horror thriller if made well.

Day 1 advance booking status of Shaitaan

Yesterday morning, we reported about Shaitaan selling tickets worth 66 lakh gross, but now, as per the latest update, the film has witnessed a massive jump of 81.81% at ticket windows. As per the update of 9:40 am, the film has hit the milestone of 1 crore, and the total advance booking for day 1 stands at 1.20 crore gross (excluding blocked seats). Talking about the ticket count, it’s over 47,000 all across the country.

It’s a good sign that Shaitaan has crossed the 1 crore mark, and if the momentum continues, it might even hit the 3 crore mark before the first show starts. If that’s achieved, it will put the film in a good position on the opening day, as it will create a positive perception among audiences.

Apart from Ajay, Madhavan, and Janki, Shaitaan also stars Jyothika and Anngad Raaj in key roles. The music is composed by Amit Trivedi. Ajay himself is serving as one of the producers alongside Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.

Yesterday, the duration of the film was revealed, and it’s 2 hours and 12 minutes long.
