Shaitaan led by Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan is leaving our jaws dropped with its massive box office collection. The film has completed it’s first weekend at the ticket windows, that too on a fantastic note! There were expectations that the horror thriller will surpass the 50 crore mark but the milestone has been achieved by a considerable margin. Scroll below for early estimates on day 3.
The Vikas Bahl directorial began on a banger note. Trade analysts were expecting a double digit opening but Ajay Devgn landed near his last success, Drishyam 2. After Mahashivratri holiday, Saturday witnessed a big jump, again leaving behind all imaginations. And guess what? Sunday collections have knocked it out of the park as well.
Shaitaan Box Office Collection
In the first two days, Shaitaan has brought in total box office collection of 34.39 crores. The film is competing with Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter to bring in the highest collections of 2024 in the Mumbai circuit. The horror thriller also entered the Top 5 list of Ajay Devgn’s openers. With opening collections of 15.21 crores, it stands at #5, with the list conquered by Singham Returns (32 crores).
As per the early trends flowing in, Shaitaan has added around 20-22 crores to its box office collection on day 3. This is a further increase of upto 11% compared to 19.81 crores earned on the second day. So far, Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan‘s film has passed with flying colors. It is now to be seen whether the film holds its momentum during the weekdays or there will be a twist in the tale!
The overall collections in the first weekend will stand somewhere around 54.39-56.39 crores. What a glorious run!
