Sanju had yet another fantabulous day as it brought on 18.90 crores more on Wednesday. The overall collections now stand at 186.41 crores and the lifetime numbers of Ranbir Kapoor’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (188.57 crores) have already been surpassed as you read this.
Even though the film hasn’t received as glowing reviews as Rajkumar Hirani’s earlier films and the follow through word of mouth also been as phenomenal as the likes of a PK or a 3 Idiots, but still the collections have been the fastest moving ever for the filmmaker.

The film is a Blockbuster in the making for sure and what has to be seen is whether an All Time Blockbuster tag is in the offering or not. For that the film would need to bring in at least 80 crore in the second week. Once that happens, the film would progress closer to the 350 crore milestone.

2018 is turning out to be remarkable when it comes to Blockbusters and Sanju will be welcome addition to that.
