Players Weekend Box-Office: Rs. 15 Cr

Abbas-Mustan’s Players did not have an exciting weekend at the box-office. The film made Rs. 4.69 crore (all-India net collection) on its opening day (January 6). Collections didn’t improve much over the weekend, with the action-thriller making Rs. 4.61 crore on Saturday and Rs. 5.68 crore on Sunday. In all, Players made a total of Rs. 14.98 crore over the opening weekend.

Given the dull reports Players has been receiving, the collections are expected to fall badly today.

Players, which stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu and others, had a dull opening almost everywhere, more so in the multiplexes.
