Padmaavat till now has collected USD $ 27.5 million at the overseas box office. With this the movie has not only entered the list of Top 10 Highest Grossing Bollywood Films In Overseas but also has crossed biggies like Tiger Zinda Hai (USD $ 20.07 million), My Name Is Khan (USD $ 23 million), Sultan (USD $ 24.38 million), 3 Idiots (USD $ 26 million) and Dilwale (USD $ 26.68 million).
The next target for the movie to achieve is Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which, for now (pre-China), stands at USD $ 29 million. Bajrangi Bhaijaan will surely fly high post its China release which is scheduled for tomorrow, 2nd March.

When Deepika Padukone was asked about the success of the film, she said “To be really honest, I think there hasn’t been any time to celebrate the success because there is so much happening right now. Of course, it is the time for celebration.
“I think receiving awards like these reminds me why I am in this business of making films, because cinema is such a powerful medium. It spreads love and brings people together. I think awards like these really sorts of reinstating that.”
