The film declined by 45.2% from last Monday, and a few more theaters were also added this past week. In 11 days, the box office total for the comedy-romance-fantasy has reached $50.9 million.

For the unversed, the first film was released in 1998 and was a box-office flop, but has since become a cult film. The OG film collected $46.7 million at the domestic box office during its lifetime run over an estimated 13-weekend span. Practical Magic 2 has surpassed the domestic haul of the original movie in less than 15 days. It is thus the highest-grossing movie in the film series.
