Last week, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona marked its arrival at the Indian box office from the Tollywood industry. After an unimpressive performance of Eagle and Yatra 2, this Sundeep Kishan starrer was expected to bring back good numbers but that’s clearly not happening at the present moment!

Ooru Peru Bhairavakona’s reception

Released in theatres on 16th February. Upon its arrival, the film saw mixed reviews coming in for itself and even word-of-mouth has been on the mixed side. The result of the same was clearly seen as numbers have been not-so-desirable and the collection of 10 crores has just been crossed.

On Tuesday, 0.95 crore net came in, and it’s really disheartening to see the Sundeep Kishan starrer coming so low even before the completion of the opening week.

Yet to recover the budget?

Even though the official number is not known, the trade buzz suggests that Ooru Peru Bhairavakona carries a budget of 20 crores. So, as we can see, the film has just recovered over half of its budget, but before ending the run, it is expected to cross the figure of 20 crores and avoid bagging a flop verdict at the Indian box office.

For those who don’t know, the film was initially scheduled to release on 9th February, but later, it was postponed to give Ravi Teja’s Eagle a solo release, as per reports.
