Hrithik Roshan-led Fighter continues to churn out numbers at the worldwide box office, though it’s now on the lower side. The film recently completed 25 days in theatres and now, in the latest development, it has surpassed the lifetime collection of RRR’s Hindi version. Keep reading to know more!

Limited reach due to a bit of a niche feel

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the magnum opus was released in theatres on 25th January. Upon its release, the film generally received favorable reviews, and word-of-mouth was inclined more in favor. However, the urban feel and niche genre of aerial action drama restricted the content from reaching a wider audience section. With good support in the mass centers, the picture could have been much different.

Fighter at the worldwide box office

Fighter completed 25 days at the worldwide box office this Sunday. In this theatrical journey, the film earned 208.50 crores net at the Indian box office, which equals 246.03 crores gross. In the overseas market, it has earned an impressive collection of 98 crores gross. Combining Indian gross and overseas gross, the global total stands at 344.03 crores gross.

Surpasses the Hindi dubbed version of RRR

With 344.03 crores gross, Fighter has crossed the lifetime collection of the Hindi dubbed version of RRR. For those who don’t know, the Hindi dubbed version of the SS Rajamouli directorial did a global business of 342.12 crores gross.

The next target of the Hrithik Roshan starrer is Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s 348.89 crores gross. Surpassing it would be a last feat for the film as after it, crossing the lifetime of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (364.81 crores gross) looks impossible.
