M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story was the lone shining spot in the week gone by as it managed to put up consistent collections right through the week and eventually netted 3.4 crore more. In fact these were the numbers that were not even matched by the combined total of half a dozen odd other films that had released (31st October, 1:13:7 – Ek Tera Saath, My Father Iqbal, Love Day, Gandhigiri, Biwi.com and Final Cut of Director) and that pretty much reflects how poor their reception has been.
However, the Neeraj Pandey film has made the best use of space available for it and has now crossed the 130 crore mark. With the total currently standing at 132.89 crore, it is now just a few lakhs away from the Rowdy Rathore total of 133 crore. That milestone should also be crossed in the fifth week for the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer and post that it would be time for the film to arrive on satellite and home video.
