Krrish 3 has been performing as expected in the overseas market. The film that released in nearly 600 screens in the important circuits in the overseas markets, clearly emerged out as a winner. While the exact figures from many zones are still dubious, as per early reports, the film began extremely well in U.K and G.C.C.
In U.K from the Thursday paid previews alone, the film has managed to earn 1.10 cr. However, in U.A.E and G.C.C, the film opened with a bumper start on the first day of its release. Raking up 2.40 crores from U.A.E and adjacent countries, the film’s later shows in the regions witnessed a swell too. In U.S.A it earned 1.50 crores.
In Pakistan, the film did well despite stiff competition from the native film Waar. It earned 55 lacs in the country despite being a non holiday release.
In New Zealand & Australia, the film on its 1st day made an income of 58 lacs.
Though figures from Australia and New Zealand are still pending. The film is indeed going down well with kids who are in awe of the new superhero on the block. Krrish 3‘s domestic income report is on the brighter side too but it is yet to see whether the film has beaten as prevailing records.
As for its overseas business, being a subdued attempt as compared to other superhero flicks, the film will work only for its sincerity at trying its hand at the magnanimous concept. Though notches beneath the likes of Spiderman and Superman. Krrish 3 has so far emerged out commendably in the overseas market.
