Naseeruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda starrer John Day is faring badly at the box office. The film has been on a downhill ever since its release. The film saw a major drop on its 1st Monday and Tuesday and made a total of 50 lacs in 2days. Over the 5 days since it hit the screens, the film has made a total collections of 2 crores so far.

Faced with Grand Masti and even Horror Story along with Shuddh Desi Romance that has put up a good show at the box office so far, the film stood marred. Ahishor Solomon’s faulty direction and a excruciating tedious screenplay butchered the film’s scope to go down well with the audiences.
