Humshakals passed the first Monday test. The film collected 5.10 crores on its fourth day. The film now stands with a collection of 45.23 crores at the domestic box office. After having a highest opening weekend of 2014, the film stood rock solid on its fourth day.
The comic caper is currently the 9th Highest Grosser of 2014. It has surpassed the lifetime collections of Yaariyaan post its 3 days run at the Box Office itself.
Starring Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor, Tamannaah Bhatia, Esha Gupta and Bipasha Basu in lead roles, the film has also evicted Amitabh Bachchan’s Bhoothnath Returns from the Highest Grossers’ List of 2014.
In spite of average critics ratings, the film has fared excellently thanks to the positive word of mouth. The satellite and music rights of the film have been already been sold for 45 crores.
