With days that witnessed the Diwali affect to a blockbuster one like yesterday and the ones with average footfall. But how would today’s be? Here’s what the trends suggests for the day.
The Farhad Samji directorial witnessed a tremendous day yesterday with 34.56 crores coming in, which has been the best in all the previous days. With the festivities getting over and a public holiday getting into the picture, a rise was expected but the numbers surpassed expectations and turned out phenomenal.
The morning occupancy for today, i.e, Day 5 of Housefull 4 lies in the range of 25-30%. The film came out of the big holiday effect but still recorded decent occupancies i.e. in same range of Friday, because it’s a partial holiday of Bhai Dooj. The occupancy will hopefully increase during the evening shows, and that will furthermore contribute to its collections at the box office. So far, everything remains decent for the day.
The story of Housefull 4 is based on reincarnation, spanning 600 years from 1419 to 2019.

Asked how difficult it is to make such a big-budget film with an ensemble cast, Akshay said: “It takes a huge heart to make such a huge film, and I feel Fox Star Studios and Sajid Nadiadwala have been able to do that. There are many problems when you make such films. It is difficult to get so many actors in one film but if all artists and technicians work with unity then it isn’t difficult. We completed shooting of the film about eight to nine months back, but it takes time to work on VFX. Otherwise, we completed this film within a schedule of 60 to 70 days — which I feel is really less a time period as compared to other films.”
