The film has now beaten Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan to become the highest opening weekend grosser of 2016.
The film has started out to be a record breaker of sorts and is expected to maintain an upswing in the weekdays too.
Housefull 3 is a comedy film and is directed by Sajid-Farhad.
