Dhoom 3 on its 1st Sunday has beaten its own record at the domestic box office. The film that recorded Bollywood’s highest single day collections on its opening day with a magnanimous 36 crores toppled that with a bigger income of 37.75 crores on Sunday at the domestic box office. The collections include its Tamil and Telugu numbers as well. With that the film currently stands at a total of 107 crores at the domestic box office.
The film has recorded the highest opening weekend collections for this year beating Chennai Express which held the record of 100.35 crores (which included its paid previews’ numbers as well).
The film is doing phenomenally well in the overseas market as well and is expected to pick up over the weekdays too being a festive season out there by virtue of Christmas! Watch this space for the second edition of the box office records set by Dhoom 3.
