PK was a pre-Christmas release and took a really good start of 26.63 crores. As Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s previous collaboration with 3 Idiots turned out to be a record-breaking success, the buzz was really high for this one and it was clearly reflected from the first weekend’s advance booking. During the first weekend, the film went onto collect 95.41 crores and 183.09 crores in the opening week. After enjoying a run for over a month, it wrapped up at 339.50 crores‘ lifetime.
