Crew was scheduled to release in theatres on March 29, 2024. The film enjoyed a partial Holiday due to Good Friday and that majorly contributed to its double-digit opening. There are multiple competitors in the market, including Shaitaan, Madgaon Express, and Article 370, but Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon’s film stand out from the crowd.
Crew Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking
As per the box office updates flowing in, Crew has added another 2 crores to its kitty via dance booking on day 2. This is a decrease of about 24.5% compared to yesterday’s numbers. But it is a working Saturday, so the trend is expected to go upward in the evening and night shows. That shall set the pace for this Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu starrer.
Trade analysts had predicted an opening in the vicinity of 8 crores. But Crew knocked it out of the park and brought 10.21 crores on day 1. The advance booking collections contributed only 2.65 crores of the total sum, which means word-of-mouth was a clear winner that converted to footfalls at the theatre halls.
The trailer received a favorable response, which hinted Crew could turn out to be a surprise at the box office. Given the current trend, there is a chance that this women-led film will achieve some milestones in its lifetime.
