After a hefty weekend, Welcome Back has managed to start its weekdays too on a positive note. The film, which saw constant escalation with every passing day over the weekend, has enjoyed a good Monday at the Box Office, what with 7.52 crores coming in. Now these are good numbers indeed because the collections are stable after a good Friday that had brought in 14.35 crore. The film now stands at a total of 58.52 crores and is set to enjoy the second highest Week One of the year so far after Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Till the day of its release, no one would have even dreamt that the Anees Bazmee directed film would be talked about in the same breath as the Salman Khan starrer, but that has happened now. As they say in Bollywood, you never know how audience may actually react to a film and the success of Welcome Back is a testimony of that adage coming true all over again.

It is now a matter of consolidating for the Firoz Nadiadwallah and Sunil Lulla film. The film is set to come near the 80 crore mark in its first week and 100 crore would be touched by the time second weekend is through. That would make this the third 100 crore HIT for John Abraham (Housefull 2, Race 2) and second century for Anil Kapoor (Race 2). Also, Anees Bazmee is now on way to find his name in the 100 Crore Club for the second time in a row after Salman Khan starrer Ready.
